We want to thank everyone who took part in our fundraising program for Basics for Babies®.  We are busily counting all of the money that has been raised!

600AM, and sister station 93.7 JRfm, created the charity in 1994 out of a specific need for baby food, formula, and diapers by local food banks.  Last year’s Basics for Babies® campaign was very successful raising a record $264,340 and thousands of pounds of baby necessities.   To date, over one million dollars have been raised for the charity.  There is an ongoing chronic shortage of baby needs at food banks throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.  As difficult as it is to come to terms with any member of our community going hungry, when it comes to babies, it’s unthinkable.
